Wrong Nationwide FlexPlus info on MSE page

Hi
I was just reading the info on the Nationwide FlexPlus account on the best packaged accounts page, and on there it says the card applies the standard 2.75% non-sterling transaction fee.
However, on nationwide’s site, it says this isn’t the case: https://www.nationwide.co.uk/support/travel/fees-charges
Is this something that’s changed about the account? Also, does this mean the FlexPlus card is just as good to use for purchases abroad as e.g. the Halifax Clarity Card?

It’s a recent change that’s happened in the last couple of weeks.0

This surprised me a bit, but it looks like this change has been brought in from 1st August according to their website.
I can't post links as I am not allowed to, but if you go to their page about their current accounts and click on the link about the forthcoming changes and then choose the FlexPlus section you will see it says the change came in on 1st August.0 -
Good luck with trying to draw it to MSE's attention. MSE leave wrong info up too often.
The current record must be their mention of an NS&I bond that was withdrawn from sale over a year ago - and is still being promoted in the opening headline of the savings and investments board..:(0 -
Purchases had always attracted a fee but their website says these are scrapped as of 1st August, along with other, mainly negative changes.
Anyway thanks for the heads up. I've had no e-mail, letter or other notification of this which is a poor show. No more in-credit interest may make a switch worth doing as I already use Starling or Transferwise these days on my trips abroad.
There again, I still get 4x phone insurances, 2x breakdown insurance (Joint account) and worldwide insurance for self and wife so still excellent value!Ethical moneysaver0
