Bought a car this morning on Tesco Credit card

Was going to buy it cash, because I had some savings, but AFTER the deal was negotiated, I spotted that the dealer took credit cards, so dropped the £5630 on my Tesco Credit/ Clubcard.
Will pay it off straight away so as not to get any interest added, but can anyone tell me how much Clubcard points / vouchers I should get for that?
Cheers

Look at their T&C's, that's what anyone would do that wanted to give you an answer.0

Likely 703 points, 1 for £8 spent.

Tesco card isn’t much good for rewards. If you had bought it on Amex card you would have had £56 cashback on the 1% card £28 on 0.5%0

If you habitually repay in full every month and therefore do not pay interest, there would be no point in repaying immediately. Wait until the statement is produced and then repay as normal.
If you have a promotional balance on the card, be aware that if you make a payment prior to the statement being issued the payment will be applied to the promotional rate balance unless you wait until the statement has been issued and then repay.
The only circumstance in which you would benefit from repaying immediately is if you have a balance on the card on which you are paying interest.0 -
Amex GOLD card is what you needed, Spend 2K in first 90 days get 20000 points (worth £100 giftcard) or change into airline points/miles at rate of 1-1. I swopped mine for Radisson hotel points (enough points foe a £200 nights stay).0

Sorry but I just don't understand what on earth the point is of this thread? Literally just telling us you bought something with your credit card.
P.s. I bought three tins of paint and a new boiler on my credit card yesterday. :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:T:TThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

I find it very unlikely the dealer would have taken Amex... I've never seen one that does!
703 clubcard points is still better than nothing!0 -

Dealer took a CC for £5630 with no additional charges = you could have haggled the price down even more than that with a small CC deposit and a bank transfer for the balance.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
