Iva and PPI’s

Hi I’m in an IVA the company requested I have and PPI check. It was agreed with NatWest that I have 2 PPI’s worth around £2500. Iva have done nothing to claim this and as far as I understand NatWest want to pay the £2500 off my debt with them, which I’m happy with. The PPI was checked when I first went into Iva that’s 4 years ago, please could you advise me how to move this forward?

Comments

  • You don't claim it.

You make a mis selling complaint, and if upheld, it will be used to reduce the amounts owed.
  • Natwest will need to pay this to the IP, they cannot settle (i believe) their own debt

The IP then distributes correctly as per your terms/percentages

so, you will need to speak to your IP and let them know about this, and they can take it forward
