High street wedding dress

Hi,
I am getting married next year and am looking for an affordable wedding dress. I have tried ASOS, John Lewis, Debenhams, Next, Coast, Monsoon etc etc but am having no luck. I'm looking for a boho-ish style and I'm almost 6ft so am looking for something long! Does anyone have any more suggestions please? I was also looking into cheap custom made ones - JJ's house etc etc but have read mixed reviews. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much

My daughter bought a prom dress online from Etsy - we were happy with it, but obviously it's a lot riskier than buying from the high street.0

Might even be worth looking in the Charity shops ....you never know what you might find there! I know it's your wedding - but how much do you want to spend on a dress that you will wear for a few hours?0

A friend of mine got a second hand one then got a local seamstress to adjust it to fit perfectly and customised it.
The whole thing cost around £300 including alterations and it looked amazing.
She said she would rather have a dress that was originally very expensive and second hand than a cheaper new one.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')

how about renting or maybe the charities - e.g. Oxfam - have bridal boutiques.

Normal bridal shops do sales racks, have a look there, nor many boohoo dresses but there was one. Got mine for £400 last October. Alterations weren't cheap though. It was all great on the day :-) now just over 5 weeks ago.0
