  • Tenovus cancer charity has a wedding shop in Bristol whilst Cancer Research has a wedding dress shop in Whitchurch, Cardiff.

I'm no fashionista but when someone say boho to me I think of a long maxi type dress
  • As you are tall and want the BOHO look you might be better going with separates.

How about a white flowing skirt like this: skirt

And then wear it with a lace top - perhaps something like this: top

You could always have the skirt made for you too.
  • Can't post working links as a new member but try Holy Clothing - they have a section for boho wedding dresses in tall at excellent prices.

I got my wedding dress from a local shop, sales rack last year, got married in June this year. Reduced to £450 then I had to have it altered unfortunately this was over £300 as it had a pattern in the train. Without that it would have been less.
  • Ignore if this is a bit late in the day (I realise OP posted in July!!). Wed2B might be worth a try if there is one near you? https://www.wed2b.co.uk/

It's sort of a wedding dress warehouse and the dresses are all £100-500, and you can try one on and take it home same day. I had a look in there when I was trying to find my wedding dress, and they had loads of styles :)

    Hope you find something!

Not everyone wants to wear trousers and a top on their wedding day.

You could try pre loved sites, gumtree,
  • The minute you use the word 'wedding dress' the price shoots up. I found the perfect dress at a fraction of the cost, simply because the dress I liked was deemed to be a bridesmaids dress, rather than an actual wedding dress!! It wasn't white (I didn't want a white one), it was the most gorgeous smokey mauve colour, but it was still a 'big' dress, with a train. It cost me £250 (I'd budgeted £2000!!!)
