Home Insurance renewal coming up

Hi all

My home insurance is coming up for renewal.
However I will be shopping around for a cheaper deal!!

My question is when I get a new deal with a new provider, do you have to let your mortgage provider know of the change of provider/policy? My mortgage is with the Coventry Building Society.

    Tell you want the policy to lapse as you have moved to another provider, that way no charge
    "It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"
