Finding out cost of glass claim.

When getting motor insurance quotes, how are you supposed to know the cost of any glass claims? Current insurer esure said they didn't know and I should ask Autoglass, while Autoglass said they couldn't tell me what they'd charged esure because of commercial confidentiality. They were however happy to give me a ballpark figure for what it would have cost me to pay direct (£350-£400) and what an insurer would typically pay (£100 on top of my £100 excess) so I guess £200 is what I'll put.

I always put the cost to me, 1 was £0 for a chip repair, and 1 was £60 for a replacement.
