This infection was discovered some time ago. All major anti-malware providers have caught up with it.
Just make sure you have good protection in palce AND it's all updated to the latest definitions on a regular basis.
You should be OK.0 -
MAKE SURE YOU UPDATE YOUR ANTI VIRUS. PLEASE CHECK NOW.
As said most anti viruse programs have now updated there signatures to prevent this happening.
It is always wise to check every few days for latest updates. AVG for example will check every day in the Pro version unsure of the shareware version.0 -
I thought that was the only difference between avg free and avg pro was the scheduled bit, thats what I hear. I cant vouche for that because I have the pro 7.1. Still with or without that there no excuse to have this virus, avg is free and easily obtained.

Bumping - as this will have started 15 mins ago .
It starts deleting *.pdf's *.doc's etc - 30 mins after a PC has been turned on, on the 3rd of every month..
It was found 2 weeks ago so most updated AV software will spot it, if a scan or active protection is turned on. It spreads mainly by email attachment.
Above are links to tools to remove and advice on staying clean.Rich people save then spend.
Poor people spend then save what's left.0 -

well how does it infect your comp? email? dodgy sites?...i always hear of new viruses 'doing the rounds' but what exactly does this mean?Fr. Stack: While you were out, I got the keys to your car. And drove it into a big wall. And if you don't like it, tough. I've had my fun, and that's all that matters.0
