cheap new zealand flights

I'm looking to get to new zealand at the start of july for a couple of months and would appreciate advice on getting the cheapest fare possible. Also is there a long haul price checker?

  Anybody out there - why aren't the "proper" airlines on the price checker? Could this be done as not all of us use the "cheapo's"!
