This is a cracking price. Had mine a year now, also from Argos. Excellent machine, easy to use, on site warranty, scans, copies and prints with built in card reader.
Inks are cheap: around £1.50 to £2.00 for comptable ones.

you can sometimes get cheap usb cables in cheap shops on the high street like poundstrechers etc. i got on in rs mcolls for 2 pounds about a month ago.Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, champagne in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming ~ WOO HOO what a ride!0

My old printer a Canon S300 needs a new print head - bloomin thing has cost me a fortune and i hardly use it.
So this Brother fits the ticket for a light use printer.

Looks as though a complete compatible set of inks are £7.17 from ink emporium inc VAT and del. (not sure if this is the cheapest)

As for a usb cable I haven't seen them in poundland for a while but I got a couple from ebay for ~ £2 earlier this year.
