Fine sent straight to ZZPS for collection

Hi,

Apologies if this is covered in other posts but I have struggled to properly apply the information in the Newbies post to my situation.

I received a letter from ZZPS on behalf of Indigo demanding a £100 penalty plus a £70 admin fee. This is for not possessing a valid ticket on 29/01/19 in a Southern Railways carpark. I have recieved no prior correspondence about the fine, not even a ticket on the car window, so am a little surprised about it going straight to collections and for such a large amount. This also meant I had no chance to appeal.

If I am interpreting the advice given elsewhere correctly, am I ok to simply ignore the demands of ZZPS? I take it there is no point trying to take up my issue with ZZPS directly...?

Thanks

  • zzps do back office for indigo , read indigo threads

you could ask the BPA for there opinion

however expect the answer to be "it was posted to you"
  • I too have received the same letter from zzps today demanding £100 and a £70 admin fee for a parking ticket I have never received in respect of a southern railways station car park.

I have received no correspondence prior to this letter and no PCN was left on my car

Ignore Indigo fake penalties at railway stations. They time out after 6 months.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • Is it as simple as just ignoring them? I have seen in other threads that it is recommended to string them along until the 6 months through appeals, however I don’t have the option to appeal as they put it straight to collections.

Yep - as simple as that!

Search the board for "Indigo" for other people who have been in the same situation.
