Note sure what's happened past few days.
Cra score+31 (not taken seriously as such though something positive has happened I think)
Only a few days ago I requested Cap1+Luma to be combined -agreeing to keep Cap1 -Luma being closed-fine.
Tonight after months almost maybe over a year ClearScore have marked a choice of Cap1 cards and Luma cards as 100% elligibility Pre Approved.
Not convinced of accuracy though I wonder how much of the+31 points were made up of Experian finally reporting this years Voters role correctly.
Anyway no other cards with eligibility hence I suspect some kind of error.

Think Money + Ocean are also 100% pre approved

The only why you will know if it’s correct is by applying:)

Ha, I honestly don't require another Cap1 card.
My existing combined balance is to be reduced.
Trying to continue with help2save for at least 2 of max 4 years when I can make considerable re payments to Credit card balances.
3 or 6 moths 0% isn't going to save much as I can't currently up re payments other than the ones which I've raised slightly.
0% for a few months is only going to revert to +34%-I'll skip these pre approved offers this time.
    Thanks

I don’t understand why you are trying to save money and still paying very high rates on credit cards. It’s best to throw everything at the debt first and save later!

I want to save +1-2k approx then make decent payments to CC's.
I seem to be managing with smaller cards 1st.
The larger balance will get re payments they deserve when H2S is at least year 2.
Hopefully when the smaller cardsa re cleared the larger one will get their re payments upped some until I have decent savings.
Main priority is to save 1st and stop tech spends when possible.
I seem to have reached point where my tech will last past 2 years, hopefully.
I only have one or two small loans finishing during 2019 -not a great amount at all though could be additional CC re payments.
    Thanks for you advice

Have you tried to get a balance transfer offer of creation? They seem to have a low threshold for acceptance. It could save you £££

Better way to find out is apply direct to the companies website rather than via a comparison site. They all seem to have eligabilty checkers

Thanks though I'm not at application stage for any credit for a few years yet.
I think 2019 could be a decent year for more defaults dropping.
Though th latter defaults are maybe into 20xxcan't remember exactly.

I recently applied for two cards through clearscore. They were both 'pre-approved'. Both came out smelling of roses..

Bit hesitant to apply for anything which is not 'pre-approved' in case it's declined and leaves a mark on credit file.

If the provider has an eligibility tool, I tend to use that first. Case in point, Clearscore told me I have a 70% chance of a Santander card, however, santander do not have an eligibility tool, so I didn't apply.

    Sensible advice, thanks.
I have only been pre approved for cap1 selection of cards since combining existing cap1 and luma.-maybe cap1 enjoyed me using two of their cards.
I'm moving forward slowly in reducing balances.
Very tricky with part time earnings.
I sometimes auto think in budget teams in full time years.
Determined to reduce and save is proving more difficult.
Though the future savings I can make from home budget are starting to be less.
One or two savings to be made mid and late 2019.
To avoid any confusion mser's I'll not be applying for any more cards at least until dmp end-currently mid 2022.
Maybe I could make more difficult decisions and reduce dmp 1 or 2 years.

Capital One allow you to have two cards from their stable, Luma, Cap 1, Ocean, Think Money etc. Once you combine the two cards you have one of their cards, so they will often allow you to take out another one.
