Your bags will be tagged all the way to Dublin. BA are being very strict now and I doubt the agent at LAX will short check them to LHR. One option for you would be to select Gatwick - Dublin for your final BA flight. You would get your bags back at LHR

Have a look at the flight and hotel options on Ba.com Kit1. There's an option to fly out on 25th December from Heathrow (flying US Airways to Vegas via Charlotte) returning on 1st January, staying at the Venetian. Total cost £2567 with a £300 deposit paid now. There are other options on there too.

In 2 of the cases where they lost a laptop I had purchased, the tracking finished at the Manchester Delivery Centre. They told me they weren't even scanned in. To me that means they were stolen. Try putting Treasure Island down as the car pick up hotel. They still had a Dollar desk there after the MGM ones closed down.

MGM removed all the Dollar car rental desks from their casinos as from 1st June. Is it an MGM casino you are staying at? Just to add there is still a Dollar desk at Treasure Island

Stayed at the Palazzo last year. Fantastic hotel and the rooms are great. We did find however that the pools tended to be in the shade until late morning/early afternoon. The Venetian and Palazzo have Bella suites that have 2 double beds and are identical to their 1 King Bed rooms (a bit bigger actually). :)

You can ask the Cosmo for a rollaway! We got one for free. Also, the sofa isn't bad for sleeping on. Fell asleep there one night after having one too many drinks and had a great kip! There is a spare bed cover and pillow in the wardrobe.
