I was thinking of visiting DLP over Easter holidays 2013. Can I expect it to be busy. Would I be better off waiting until the half term at the end of June?
-
Can't remember if I posted this or not but Colgate Total is only 98p in Wilkos at the moment.

Just noticed while surfing that Dettol handwasher is £9.99 in waitrose but on 3 for 2 offer. I know the coupon has long expiry date but if someone wants it now this might be the place to go.

I believe you can also use tesco vouchers against kew gardens entry now aswell.

Thanks again for replies. As I say, am not the best at this sort of thing. Money is in current account as cannot have a standing order coming from a savings account. As I don't always have time/opportunity to get to the bank to make a transfer it was the best way at the time to ensure I didn't go overdrawn in the current…

Thanks all. Money is currently in a Halifax current account which is feeding monthly saver so do have immdediate access.

Thanks for the reply. I can pull out of the Halifax so could so NR account now. I know I am not comparing like for like exactly which is why it's hard. I am assuming that like for like would be £2400 at 5% for a full year as opposed to £1200 x 2 at monthly rate of £100 per month (if that makes sense)

Thanks everyone for your replies - it has cleared up a lot of confusion for me. Hubby doesn't have POE over mil affairs but mil has a great relationship with downstairs so I don't think he would mind talking to both. Anyway, now I know where we stand we can take things further. Anyone know a good site I can use to get an…

Thanks for all replies - I am not sure on details and am pretty sure she won't know either (she likes to bury her head in the sand). My understanding is that fil bought masionette for mil as part of divorce settlement as hubby was still minor at the time and chose to live with his mum. The masionette is designed as though…

Go ahead Yougurt breaks are currently £1 for 6 in Iceland so using the 30p coupon brings them to 70p. According to their sign they are usually only £1.50 anyway so 50p cheaper that the other supermarkets, good if you are like me and have daughter who eats them constantly!!!

Not sure if this has been posted before (apologies if it has) but I noticed a glitch at Mr Ts yesterday - took my dove coupon to use - product on offer at mo - £1 instead of £2.79. Anyway, when I checked my receipt, I found the coupon had scanned for £2.79 - effectively giving me 2 for free and paying me 79p to take away.…

Hope you managed to find one - Hemel Hempstead is right next to st albans so may have been worth a detour - you wouldn't have had to stay for an hour, just buy a ticket. Anyway, if you had a good time and decide to go again, please message me, if I have any spare coupons would be happy to send them to you
-
Here's a suggestion for if it's possible for you. Park in the water gardens car park in Hemel Hempstead - might cost you 70p for the hour. The peel off part of the ticket has a free child entry coupon with a paying adult. Hope that helps Charlotte

I am worried now, I have a plum frame but have not received a letter, think mine was bought around 2006. May be being thick but can someone explain what a swing arm is for me please? How can I check if my frame is included? Thanks

Not sure if posted before but if anyone wants to use the 25p coupon on the neck of the Blue Dragon Sweet Chilli Sauce against the actual product it is on offer in Asda at the moment for £1 so only 75p with coupon - have been stocking up as it seems hubby can't eat food unless covered in some kind of spicy ketchup!!!

Blocking of coupons is done centrally, not by Managers instore. But I don't know why it takes the central team so long to act sometimes to make that change to the tills. Just as an aside, I work in an express and for the last 3 weeks, the instructions on one of our card payment key pads has been printed upside…
-
Sorry if this has already been said - personally I think you should have had the money refunded back onto your card - however, from your post it is my understanding that you used £10 worth of coupons. I also understand that you were overcharged by £10 for that item. Looks to me as cs were simply arguing that the overcharge…

If anyone actually want to try the Suso drink - Mr Ts have 2 cans for £1 at the mo - normally 77p each. If you use both 20p coupons then thats just 60p for 2. HTH someone
