People seeking bungalows are mostly trying to avoid stairs! I absolutely LOVE that one.... But I am disabled and couldn't get up to the front door! So that is one reason it might not have been snapped up.

SS I have the utmost admiration for you, I really do. But why are YOU trying to keep the little boys quiet??? You said DS didn't work so HE needs to keeping his children quiet so you and DGD can sleep/have peace.

LouLou I love your posts! Please don't stop! I used to enjoy a good mooch around Poundland, but since ending up in a wheelchair, it is so much harder to actually see what there is, I rarely make the effort. But I can shop vicariously through your photos :D

Loving the description! "3 bedroom semi detached bungalow which is well presented in a 1960's/70's retrospective fashion" Put your sunglasses on before looking :D https://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-83411492.html

Do the higher flats have more bedrooms? Here, many flats on the ground floor are bedsits or one bedroom for single occupancy, while upstairs are 2 bed. Is that why they wont offer one in the same block? Or are they all the same?

As everyone has said, nothing unusual at all about adult children and parents sharing. But your name and passport details MUST match the booking! Just a surname in common will not be accepted. Have a fantastic time!

Now I want steamed pudding :o Ocado have ones you can steam, so you could do them in a saucepan but presumably you couldn't just chuck them into boiling water? I assumed you would need to keep the top out of the water.…

Good grief, I hope it's not true! I donate my large sizes in the hope it will help out another equally generously sized lady. Not for them to go to the ragman, based on their size! :(

Bonkers if the father thinks he owns 1/2 the house. But BIB - your son is presumably a grown up? Why all the "we" and not "he"? Maybe HE would like the cash back? Seems like a good option to me.

I have missed Bluelass :j

It was -8 at Southampton Airport at 6am this morning, and you don't get MUCH further South than that (at least not without getting your feet wet)! :rotfl:

Tell her YOU will be telling the local parents about her letting you down with no notice!

I 2nd this, they are great and smell wonderful!! Unless Molten Brown have changed, they are just as full of chemicals as other brands, sls etc. They might have changed the ingredients but in the past it was the lovely smells and name that put the premium price tag on Molton Brown.....not the ingredients!!

Ordered my Woodwick candle supply :j

I think you have been very courageous Mooloo, the little boys welfare is far more important than DS or GF. Personally, I find the fact DS left the little boys alone in the car twice (even if it was for the briefest time) and the fact GF could not be ar*sed to get out of bed, FAR more worrying than the state of the house.…

Will having them there in your house have an impact on DGD's situation? Since they are known to social services and have had their own children removed because of concerns? I sincerely wish life was more straightforward for Mooloo and especially DGD.

How did he access your side of his fence? Trespass?

I got 3 of the wool ones from Home Bargains on Saturday......either £1.99 or £2.99. I find them a bit quieter than plastic ones.....but not much ;)

I am just a normal home owner/buyer, no professional knowledge. But if someone asked me those questions (which appear to imply I am thick) I would be looking to spend my hundreds of thousands of pounds elsewhere!

Totally agree!! 60??? Who does he think you are? A Primarni sweat shop???
