Glad you're ok, Atrix. I think us ladies have to have these sort of embarrassing examinations quite often by men and women so you're lucky you're a man and probably won't have to do it again! I always ask for a nurse (they're all women in my practice). One of the doctors from Embarrassing Bodies was on the tv a few weeks…

Im glad your GP was able to help, Lovelyjoolz. I think all doctors should be told whilst in training to never talk about childbirth as though its a cure for pms. I had terrible pmdd from the age of 14 and, after having 2 children, it was just the same. I have heard of ladies who didn't suffer with any pms until they had…
-
PS Please visit the websites I posted above. Studd and Panay are the top gyneas who know everything about pmdd and how to treat it.
-
Apart from the anti-d's I never found any of those supplements made any difference at all to my pmdd. If you visit pms.org there is a list of gynae's who specialise in pmdd and you can ask your doctor to refer you to one. If you want to pm me your location I can look up the list of gynaes for you. All the best. xxx

I think a lot of people feel like this in social situations. I think its quite normal to feel anxious about public speaking and I myself absolutely hate the phone. I have a phone which shows the number of whoever is calling and so I know whether to answer or not and this helps a lot. Perhaps you could do this? I really…

I think from your post that you're still young and not at menopausal age? You can get like this as you head towards menopause because of the drop in oestrogen. However, I would ask your doctor to refer you for councelling but its absolute rubbish that anything he prescribes will make you dozy. Perhaps if he gave you…

Yes, anti-d's can really really help. Some people are worried about taking these but they really do the trick. You may need other treatment alongside this too but only your gynae can advise.
-
The doctor will try to give you progesterone treatments but many ladies find these make things worse instead of better. You need to push to see a gynae who specialises in pms.
-
Theres a PMS and PMDD awareness group on Facebook if you are on Facebook. I can get someone to add you. Also go and visit www.pms.org.uk http://www.studd.co.uk/ (very knowledgeable professor about pms and menopause etc). Ive seen consulted with him myself. http://nickpanay.com/ (also knows his stuff when it comes to this…

We haven't said anything to the woman apart from saying we are now going to go through insurance. When my daughter agreed to £30 she didn't mention anything about the lad driving, so there was no blackmail. My daughter was under the impression that the woman thought she hadn't noticed who was driving. The woman even said…

Its daft though isn't it. There you are all parked properly (hypothetically speaking) and minding your own business, some idiot isn't looking where they're going and bashes into you and it makes you more of a risk! We bought our present car in 2005 and have had 3 people crash into it and 1 person who nearly crashed into it…

This is what I thought. Its wrong if he wasn't insured to drive and the more people that are caught the better for the rest of us legal drivers. The rest of us pay more than we should because of people driving illegally. My daughter is still suffering from a car accident a few years ago because she hurt her back and it…
-
To be honest we didn't think she would pay up at all, no matter what was agreed at the time. I was pleasantly surprised when the letter dropped through the letter box until, of course, we saw the snotty letter and the £20!

My daughter has shopped around for insurance on her proposed new car and has got a really good deal after doing comparisons and so I don't think theres going to be any noticeable increase in premium for her after taking the cheapest quote anyway. If she's going to go through the insurance it also saves my husband from…

Just thought Id update. We used resorthoppa and had no problems. We had a taxi at Palma Airport take just the two of us straight to the hotel. His meter showed 60 euros, but of course we had already paid Resorthoppa £52.37 for both drop off and pick up journeys so it was a good deal. Had a mini bus from the hotel to the…

Will they drop you anywhere near your hotel?

I know about the translation in Google! I just wondered if there was an English report about this. Assuming the strikes finish on Sunday (The Daily Mail says this is the case), can anyone recommend a shuttlebus?
-
The article is in Spanish though. Where can i find a timetable? We will arrive in Majorca on Tuesday 10th at about 11.30am and need to go from resort to airport on Friday 13th at about 4.00pm.

My sister-in-law and husband went to the Corona Del Mar and couldn't fault it. She's a very fussy eater and said the food was lovely and there were even microwaves for you to use if you like your food really hot. It isn't all inclusive though but half board. She said they intend to return there again next. Its walking…

This website was invaluable to me when i had my tribunal (in which I got my benefit reinstated). It was worth the fee to join but, if you can't join, there is still information on there that you may find useful. Good luck tomorrow. http://www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/
