Just asked the question on the Halifax web site and this was the reply Your card's features and benefits won't change. Just remember to update your new card details with any services that take payments regularly.

Some councils will give first six months free, then have to pay for the remaining six months, others will give a 50% reduction for one year. After that you have to pay in full, that is what I have learnt through personal experience.

Has this just stopped working or has it not been used for a while, if the latter, Have you tried some WD40/3in1 type lubricant from inside and outside, let it soak in for a while and see if it allows you to unlock it.

When you plug the phone into the PC, click on "This PC" you should then be able to navigate to where the photos are stored (SD Card/Internal memory) You should be able to copy them to a folder on the PC.

I have had this also, and found that resetting it (Turn off, and on again) usually solves the problem

Might be a silly suggestion, but is there any way you could power it down and back on again, seems to be the answer to most electronic gizmo's now a days lol

Councils have different policies, ours gave us 6 months exemption, then you have to pay full price, I have heard of others that give you half price for 12 months, which works out about the thing. After whichever policy is in place where the property is has expired, the bill will then accrue until it is sold, and then the…

I had an Egg card years ago and it was transferred to Barclays, so it might be worth you contacting them, assuming you still have any account details.

I had the need to contact Hermes recently (several times), and found them to be very helpful. You could try this number, but you WILL need a tracking number for them to find it on their system Reach customer service by calling 0330 808 5456 Hope you find this useful

I notice that on Helpme88 profile, they joined on 29th Nov, so i would assume they are not familiar with the forum, and the two replies are of no help to the OP

As Frozen up north has said, check to see if you can Cap your call charges, for future reference I would suggest you turn off your Mobile Data before making the call, then if WIFI is lost , it cannot automatically switch to Mobile Data.

Firstly you must have a router somewhere in your home, as this is where your WiFi comes from. CCTV systems will generally be plugged directly into your router for optimal performance, then usually connected to a TV screen/monitor through HDMI cable, to receive live view on a smart phone/tablet away from your home you will…

I did this about a year ago, like you I have no legal expertise, but found it quite simple to do, go to this site. https://www.gov.uk/wills-probate-inheritance/applying-for-a-grant-of-representation and download the documents. Just complete them to the best of your knowledge and submit them. it'll cost you £215 for the…

The type of reply from "margertclare" really gets up my nose, she says she can't "COMPREHEND" it. Well just to help her a little I'll explain that because people go to work and pay thier own way through life and buying thier own property, and NOT claiming all and sundrea from the state. When people don't work live a life…

You might find that you don't have a valid claim, if the tank developed a leak through wear & tear, old age etc. You will find somewhere in your policy that it is up to you to "Keep the property in a good state of repair." If you had accidently hit the tank and damaged it, you could possibly claim under accidental damage,…

I have pondered this question myself, and after much searching on the net, here is what I have found. As stated, at the moment if you don't have a HD source, then you will see no benefit for the extra outlay. But, in spring of this year freesat will be launched, transmitting HD signals, there will be a one off…
