These Competition terms and conditions should be read together with, and are in addition to, Bauer Radio Limited’s standard terms and conditions at: http://www.bauerlegal.co.uk/radio-competition-terms.html (the “General Terms”). Together these specific competition terms and conditions and the General Terms shall be referred to as the “Terms”. Where there is a conflict between these terms and the General Terms, these terms shall prevail.

ITEM 1: COMPETITION NAME

“Cash Superstars” running from the Start Date to the End Date as set out below (the “Competition”).

ITEM 2: PROMOTER

Bauer Radio Limited, registered office: Media House Peterborough Business Park, Lynch Wood, Peterborough, United Kingdom, PE2 6EA and registered under company number 01394141 (the “Promoter”) This is a Greatest Hits Radio Network Competition, running across the following radio stations: • Greatest Hits Radio, Clyde 2, Forth 2, MFR 2, Northsound 2, Tay 2, Westsound Subject to the other provisions of these Terms and Conditions the Competition is open only to those living in the broadcast areas of the above named stations (the “Greatest Hits Radio Network” stations).

ITEM 3: WEBSITE

ITEM 4: COMPETITION START DATE AND END DATE

Start Date: Friday 28th February 2020 at 3:10pm.

End Date: Friday 6th March 2020 at 3:10pm.

Entries to the Competition will open on Friday 28th February 2020 at 3:10pm. The first round of the competition will take place on Monday 2nd March 2020 after 3:00pm.

We reserve the right to broadcast the Competition at any time throughout each day during the broadcast schedule. As further described below, the Competition consists of multiple daily draws. Where there is no winner for a daily draw, all valid entries for that daily draw will be rolled over into the pool of entries for the following daily draw.

One or more rollovers of a daily draw shall be referred to as a “Round”. Where there is no winner of a daily draw and a rollover takes place, those entrants who have already entered that same Round are permitted to enter again for additional chances to play the Competition.

ITEM 5: COMPETITION DETAILS

At 8:00am on Monday 17th February 2020, the presenter(s) of a Station will announce on-air the Cash Superstars artist and amount (“Prize Amount”), relevant to the Competition. For the avoidance of doubt, where there is a rollover of a daily draw due to an Entrant failing to win any of the Prize Amount, the Prize Amount on the following day shall not be lower than on the previous day of that Round. The Cash Superstars artist and Prize Amount will be valid for that draw only, will be the winning answer and will also be the cash prize that entrants are trying to win for that day (hereby known as the “Prize”). As set out above, the relevant Cash Superstars artist and Prize Amount for each day of the Competition will be announced on-air. However, we reserve the right to announce the Cash Superstars artist and Prize Amount at any time during the relevant day of the Competition. We may also advertise the current Cash Superstars artist and Prize Amount on the respective Station’s website, social media or via an SMS marketing message or via any other medium at our absolute discretion.

After the Entry Period has closed, one entrant from all of the valid entries will be selected by automated random draw and will be contacted by the phone number provided with their entry. This may be live on air or off-air to be played out at a later time on-air. All callers are randomly selected in the same way and any off-air recording will only ever take place after the entries have closed. In order to play the Competition, the entrant must answer their phone within 5 rings. The 5 rings will be judged according to the Station audio recording (for the avoidance of doubt the sound of a “ring ring” shall count as one ring, not two). The entrant will be asked to play the Competition as soon as they answer the phone. If they are not in a position to play for any reason then they will be unable to play the Competition, and no other entrant will be called. If you are selected, you will be required to talk to the presenter(s) and your call will be recorded and played on-air (assuming there is no breach by you of these terms and conditions).

The entrant who is randomly selected to play will be asked to name the Cash Superstars artist relevant to that daily draw of the Competition. If they give the correct answer then they will win the Prize. We may ask an entrant to repeat or confirm their answer.

The entrant will not win the Prize should they:

• fail to answer the phone at all; or

• fail to answer the phone within five rings (according to the station’s audio); or • give the incorrect Cash Superstars artist; or

• fail to say anything at all; or

• be disconnected for any reason beyond our control

The answer given must be clearly audible to presenters and adjudicators and audible on the studio’s audio recording. If this is unclear or inaudible due to a poor signal or any other reason, entrants are ineligible to win. If entrants appear in the judgement of the presenters and/or adjudicators to be driving illegally, they will not be eligible to win. Where there is any doubt in relation to whether or not an entrant has given the correct answer or the prize should be awarded, we reserve the right to defer decision making to an off-air adjudicator to check the audio recording with reference to these terms and conditions.

All our decisions relating to the Competition and/or awarding of prizes are final. No discussions or correspondence with entrants or any other person will be entered into. Where there has been a winner for a daily draw, the new Cash Superstars artist and Prize Amount will be announced on-air for the next daily draw and you will need to enter again to be eligible to win. All previous entries for the daily draw which has been won will not be valid for future draws.

Where there has not been a winner for a daily draw, there will be a rollover and a new Cash Superstars artist and Prize Amount will be announced on-air for the next daily draw. In the event of a rollover, all entrants from the completed draw, and any other previous draws, where no winner was declared, will automatically be eligible for the next daily draw that takes place after 3:00pm the following weekday.

You do not need to enter again in order to be eligible to win, but you are able to do so (as described at Item 4) if you would like to increase your chances of winning. For clarity, each competition Round is separate and the entry pool will be re-set after the conclusion of each Round (i.e. after there has been a winner), meaning that entrants would be required to enter again for any future draws or Rounds if they wished to be entered into the Competition again. We reserve the right to guarantee a winner for a daily draw. This will be clearly communicated on air throughout the entry period of that daily draw. Where a winner is guaranteed, if the first entrant chosen to play is not declared the winner, another entrant will be drawn at random and asked to play. This process will continue until a winner is declared.

ITEM 6: DRAW DETAILS

Entry to the draw will open at 3.10pm on Tuesday 25th February 2020 and close at 3:00pm on Wednesday 26th February 2020.

Following the first draw, entry to the competition will open and close as follows (individually an “Entry Period”, together the “Entry Periods”):

Monday’s Draw: opens at 3:10pm Friday, closes at 3:00pm Monday. Tuesday’s Draw: opens at 3:10pm Monday, closes at 3:00pm Tuesday. Wednesday’s Draw: opens at 3:10pm Tuesday, closes at 3:00pm. Wednesday. Thursday’s Draw: opens at 3:10pm Wednesday, closes at 3:00pm Thursday .Friday’s Draw: opens at 3:10pm Thursday, closes at 3:00pm Friday.

Any entries received before or after the End Date (as stated above) will be invalid but you may still be charged. The daily draws will take place each weekday (Monday to Friday) after entry to that daily draw has closed (after 3:00pm each day). Once the Entry Period has closed a random automated draw of all registered, qualifying entrants will take place and the Station shall call the phone number provided by the Entrant. Bauer Radio Limited is not responsible for any latency experience or technical fault by your mobile phone network, which may delay or prevent the delivery of your text message to us.
