now £254 divide by 3 dos not come to £40/£50 its £84.66 that we should be better off?my partner has had the same job so our incomes havnt changed.the only thing i can think of is theyve taken away our discount for my son,is this possible. Its so annoying as we are struggling at the mo n the boys mum is living a life of rily!!!!! any help is much appreciatedx0 -

Am I right you've been paying maintenance for 3 children and it's now gone down to two?
If so, then I think I'm right to say that you would have been paying 25% and will now need to pay 20%. So your assessment isn't dropping by a third but by 5%. You'd still have the allowance 15% (I think) for your son.
If you calculate the figures does that make sense?0 -
