Just got in from the first Twickenham show. They came on stage at about 8.20pm which is much earlier than I thought they would. Left the stage approx 10.35pm. Didn't see the support, I only wanted to see The Feeling. Loads of empty seats though, especially on the top tiers. The standing area wasn't overly crowded. All in all a great night, good luck to those of you who go! Try and take advantages of the car parks further away so you can get out quicker.

Depends where you park, but on average it's £15-£20.

We went last night and drove. There is a parking control zone which is in operation from 11am today till late tonight. We looked it up on the Richmond council website and downloaded the PDF. Then looked on multimap.com to find a residential road just outside it ( North West of stadium). It left us a 20 minute walk to the stadium but wasnt a problem.

When it came to coming out, because we had parked a bit further out we missed the congestion totally as the police wont open any of the surrounding roads for ages to allow pedestrians to go to the railway stations. South of the stadium becomes hugley congested because of the railway stations.

Also for anyone going tonight and still checking on here, you can take in plastic bottles of water, they may take the lid from you but we stuffed our pockets with bottles and it was fine.

Well I've picked up my 2 tickets at 2ish and didn't have any problems, just had to queue a little while. Will be going back at around 6ish for the concert. Enjoy everyone.

Never really understood this at gigs, does a bottle hurt less when it hits without the lid on?!;)

    That's a joke surely!??!

We paid £75 for a ticket when they went on sale, and then at the last minute, they sell them for £10 each..... Someone somewhere was taking the pee.

What's more, our £75 "Gold seats" were the worst in the stadium. We couldn't see the lights or screens because we were sat in line with the stage.
Fortunately we found a steward who gave us wristbands to go on the pitch (we got right to front of main area) - but those would only have been £45.
I'm in the process of arguing with AEG & Ticketmaster about a refund for the difference.

    Not a happy bunny here.....

Possibly because the container could be full, if not of original contents then water. If there is no top hopefully most of the contents will have spilled out before impact???

Dont know really just a thought!

Was told by a steward once that it was more of a health and safety thing concerning evacuations etc. IE when trampled, a plastic bottle with no lid on could be crushed and easily collasped, whereas a bottle with the lid still on would maintain its shape and as a result would be more likely to cause people to slip and fall.

Went saturday and had a fab time a grand total of £42.25 for 4 tickets.Bit of a wait at the box office but a small price to pay.
A tip for future Twickenham events, there is a big Tesco's very close by to stock up on platic bottles of drink and food before going in.
