Thanks korky. Have you emailed them to ask about it?

Edit: You put: the object is to find the word that's missing from the list. If drink is missing from the list, isn't that the word they want?

hi gilla, usually the words are listed on the page and DRINK isn't on the list, the object of the wordsearch is to find all the listed words, the instructions are to find all the listed words,
so, as i found all the words i can only presume they've left the word DRINK off the list, as the letters left over in the grid one of them spells DRINK, but it's not on the list..

i have sent this to them earlier...

    ...........................................

Hi, Today i purchased the Issue 2 of Take a break's Wordsearch to enter the competition, on page 5 (win £5000) you have a list of drink-related words to find in the wordsearch, after many hours of redoing this puzzle i still find that all the words CAN be found in the wordsearch,
according to the competition instructions one of the wine-making words listed doesn't appear in the grid.
I then went back to the shop where i bought the magazine from to check the other issues and it appears the same in all of the Issue 2 Wordsearch, so, after checking all the letters left over from crossing out the found listed words there was only one word that made a word, and that word is DRINK, i'm wondering if your puzzle-co-ordinator has made a mistake with either leaving the word DRINK off the list
or if the instructions should be to find the word in the wordgrid after all the other words are found ?
I would be very grateful if you could help clear this mystery up as i would love to enter for the competition but obviously don't want to enter with the wrong answer,

haven't received a reply yet, but will let you all know as soon as i do .....

    Update re: Wordsearch Issue 2

have been out on business this morning & just got back hoping to find a reply from my email  but still no reply, so i've phoned the london office & spoke to the people concerned, they have apologised & agreed there was a misprint in the puzzle , also told them i was not very happy as they hadn't responded to my email's, they apologised again, the good news is they are sending me next month's Wordsearch free in the post as a refund for the cost :D ...the BAD news is the competition this month is null & void, they said in issue 4 they will put an extra money puzzle in to compensate for this months misprint  I've asked them could they please send me an email regarding this conversation and the reason why we can't enter as i need it for my records,
so i'm sorry everyone, all that effort for nothing :(

will post the email from them when/if it arrives
