Unexpected payment in current acc???

Morning peeps, ive had an unexpected payment in my current acc this morn, had to give tax credits some info bout OH work, there was a period where he didnt have a job for about a month and half during our current claim - sent this info back to them as requested and today weve had 2 payments into account about 388.00 - does this mean they must have owed us for when he wasnt earning?

IF you're recently called tax credits with new information then it will be from them. They normally pay out something after a change in circs.

I would say yes it is because of that, but due to their mess ups over the past couple of years etc. i would say give them a call and double check.

Otherwise they could all of a sudden decide to claim it back.

Fingers crossed it is all good.

Or if you call your bank they'll be able to tell you over the phone who it's from. :)
