Credit Agreements ???

hi all..
i am in need of help with regards to credit agreements..
i owe littlewoods catalogue £800 , have been a customer since 05/03/05 and the account is now with Iqor debt recovery .( paying £10 a month )
i also owe kays £624 ,have been a customer since 07/10/06 , now on their extended repayment plan ( paying £16 a month )
also grattan at £200 making minimum payments , been a customer since 16/08/06. and last is vanquis visa , owing £500 and been a customer since 08/12/05 , have made 3 payments of £10 a month , and now i have to see if they will extend the time ..
i can not remember if i signed any credit agreements with the above so how would i go about finding out if i did , and what happens if i do not here from the creditors.. reason for asking is i am struggling with some payments and times will get harder for me as my son is starting senior school in sept so it is going to be an expensive time for me ...thanks.
:oiqor debt recovery for littlewoods £832.73..
kays lifestyle £624.60..
vanquis visa card £503.28..
grattan £200.09..

Do you already have defaults on those debts?

There is a CCA letter that needs to go to each relevant creditors (see the short warning before you send anything) with a £1 postal order.

p.s my visa creditor will need to be contacted again as they only accepted £10 a month for 3 months , they then want another review.. my other option would be to send soa 's to each creditor saying i am now living on £155 a week which has to cover all bills etc and hope they will accept lower payments.

    Hi

If you are on benefits, then you need to contact the debt charities to which I linked you and pay £1 per month per creditor.

However, if the CCA letter reduces your debt leevel that might help you decide what to do.

Certainly, never pay a DCA until you have the CCA request complied with.

We have several instances when more than one DCa has contacted someone about the same debt and they have paid them.

Did you take out any sort of insurance on the catalogues or cc?

no i didnt take out insurance on them..
i am on benefits of £124.99 income support and £30.20 child benefit a week, so not alot really..but with regards to iqor debt recovery , they took over my littlewoods account and i have been paying them , so if i wish to get a copy of the cca do i write to littlewoods with the account number and request it from them ? ... am hoping that cca's could reduce my debt by about £1,400

Non supply of a true copy of a signed CCA does not mean the debt goes away but It can mean its unenforceable .

Hi, you write to Iqor for the CCA, as they Appear to own or collect the debt. Regardless of what they say, they have to produce it in 12+2 days before they default and then they have another 30 days before further pursuit would be illegal.

There is always the risk that they they can come up with it later, but if you make it plain that if they produce the CCA, you will start re-paying, then you are covered.

Do not sign the CCA request letter by the way and it must start "I do not acknowledge any debt to your company". Even if you have been paying.
