    Who knows??

The decision must be yours and yours alone.

I don't think the mods will allow specific advice being given as the site does not hold a licence to give financial advice.

The closing price today is £2.76, the option price to buy is £2.75 - too close to call at the moment. Leave the decision until the last minute.

.... but I would only but them if you're prepared to hang on for a while.

  • I find the whole thing rather dodgy, in laymans terms, they have an underwriter that will buy any of the shares that are not bought "right to buy" when the prospectus first come out it was a bargain, when shares were like £4-00 something on the market, now that they have dropped to like £2-70 odd, seems like someone is going to make a lot of money, or people are going to lose a load more.

A 50% drop in share price in the last few months has that been common, or just HBOS :p

What I really want to know what is the Share price on the open market needed to be for the right to buy to be worth while, still understanding they may drop after??? there must be a general share price that would be a good investment for the future
