Is This Normal For Competition Entries?

Is this normal?

I was just doing a search on yahoo when my name showed up in a link, I clicked on it and it and it downloaded a Excel sheet with 1,961 names and email addresses on it. From what I can make it it's a list of everyone who entered Europcar's Easter Competition. I don't like the idea of anyone being able to download a file with my name and email address I get enough spam as it is.

that is frightening but according to a friend it is easy enough to get names and email addresses if you want to access them. I was horrified,

that shouldnt be allowed, Id probably let the website running the competition know that and how you arent happy - I would have thought that they should then remove it

Wow, that really is bad. Wonder how many of these comp we enter are as lax with our details.

Hilarious to see some names with 7, YES 7, different corresponding email addresses. Who has the time to enter 7 times??? Let alone keep track of 7 different email accounts?:rotfl:Guess they really wanted to win the comp, huh?

Reminds me of that German policeman who had 600 different aliases for his comping!
    Aye, look - I got a siggie :D
