As its a public building, no - unless its hearing or guide dog etc. However, call them in the morning (the registry office that is!) and ask. Until you hear it from the horses mouth so to speak, you will never know for definate.

The council I work for doesn't allow dogs in any of its buildings other than guide dogs. I'm not sure about hearing dogs for the deaf though but assume they would be allowed.

It's due to health and safety and public liability regulations.

Your registry office may be prepared to make an exception but would have thought it was unlikely. It wouldn't hurt to ask though.

My ex MIL brought her dog to our registry office wedding, it was a very small dog and she had a very big handbag.
