  • Hi, the press release is exactly the same as the letter I received from a company called Camera Rescue Service who claim to have my cameras and want £15 plus vat to return them to me. Does anyone know any more about this or where the original press release came from?
  • How dreadful. My first wedding - Truprint lost all the honeymoon photos and the wedding photographer went bust and we had no pictures (in the days before digital cameras as well - so not many pics from the guests) so you have my sympathy.

My 2nd wedding this year we took 8 disposable cameras to Costco and it was £3 per camera to put the pics on a CD so we could email them and print them out. Fantastic quality. Would highly recommend the service - CDs were ready in 4 hours.

Hope you get some positive news about your pics soon - but hope you at least have the professional ones - and lots of happy memories.
  • wow that is one hell of a job for someone to do, to sort out all those thousands of cameras ... Hope you all eventually get your photos back.
  • I too have been caught by colorway. We got married in October and weren't aware having bought the camera's from Confetti a long time ago that Colorway were bust. I sent our photos off to them and thankfully because postie couldn't deliver them they went back to the sorting office. Royal Mail poilcy is that if mail is not collected after 3 weeks it is opened and returned to sender if there is info inside to return it. A couple of days ago my unprocessed cameras and cheque in the original box were returned to me. I hope that this may be the case for some of you - finger crossed. xx
  • I bought my camera's from the disposable camera service in May 2008, married in September and didn't post the cameras until December. I am disappointed that the vendor of the envelopes didn't contact their customers to advise us not to send the camera's in August. As we were on a budget, these are the main photo's from our wedding day.

If I don't hear anything from the vendor, I might try approaching the insuance company but I am hoping that Royal Mail come thorugh for us too.

    Fingers crossed here too. xxx
