Am I strange?

I get really frustrated at this time of the month :o .

All our statements are in and spreadsheets up to date :D.

I keep looking at them and check internet banking 2-3 times a day but nothing changes  . I can't wait for the 1st when the wages are in, Payplan get paid and I can start updating my spreadsheet to show our new totals. I even look forward to the postman coming with our statements now :D .

This is a complete change to a year ago when I hated checking the bank balance, cried over our statements and had know idea how much debt we had :o .

Am I going mad  ? Please tell me I'm not alone :o .

    Hi Sam,

We have debts similar to your level and I hope that we can pay off as much in the time that you have already. No wonder you look forward to your statements now!

    Well done x

You're definitely not alone. This seems to be a side effect of regaining control of your finances!

Thanks Debtweary, I'm sure you'll manage to work away at your debt too :D.

DDD, thanks, I am in danger of becoming obsessive though  . OH came home last night and gave me the receipt for his diesel so I could take it off my budget (he's well trained now). I'd already taken it off because I saw it on internet banking :rotfl: .

I love updating my spreadsheet, opening my statements and checking online banking. Its a massive change from when i used to pile them up unopened. I cant believe that was only a year ago!
