Here is my tip for those who have just bought their new house and can't wait to move in.
Need to get some Change of Address cards? Instead of buying them, pop in to the Estate Agent once the proceedings are formalised and ask if you could have all the remaining prints if house details for your new property. They should not want them anymore as the house is in the on the way to completion, so will not need to keep them.
Now you can send these out to your favourite people and they get all the details and a picture of your new house for when the house warming party happens.
Most agents also have digital photos of your property so I am not sure quite where you stand but I would think under Data protection you also have a right to know the images were taken of your new property. If you get these you could add them to e-mails if you do not already have a camera.
