The site's been posted over on the Freebies board today so they could well have been deluged with the response from new reviewers! :o

I've got 7 more to do as my target for this evening and then I'll be able to email for my second voucher (hopefully!) :D

Thanks - I do realise I'm probably worrying needlessly - but you know how it is!!!

I'm plodding on with more reviews so I hope they do continue paying! I think it just struck me as odd because they have been sooooooo prompt at replying to emails etc up to now.

Well, I'm going to be optimistic and complete the 7 I need for my next voucher! :D See you in a bit... ;)

I think it is a case of not realising how powerful an incentive of ten pounds is and how successful they were in getting so many people to write reviews. I think is is very much the case of over streching resources (e.g. the person replying, not the amount of voucher!)

Quick question about how to use the vouchers... I think someone said you can buy something for less than a tenner and Amazon will leave a credit on your account. Is that correct? Does the same apply if you are buying from an Amazon marketplace seller, or only if you buy from Amazon stock?
  • That would be interesting. You buy something cheaply for say £15 (to get the free postage), put all of your vouchers in (say £50 for the super reviewers), Amazon give you the credit of £35 on your account.

If that is how it works you can then get over the issue that you can only spend the vouchers directly on goods stocked by Amazon and not those in the Marketplace. You theoretically could now use your £35 credit to buy anything from the Marketplace or any other seller advertising on Amazon.

The "change" is kept on your account, but it is marked as voucher (not cash), and can only be used in the same way the other vouchers can be used.
