 nipped in to boots to see if they had any little bits and bobs reduced and bought the dream lash mascara just to get the gwp when i said i wouldn't. I really need help!

I said from now on i was only going to buy things in the clearance. As i opened my bank statement and it only says BOOTS
I couldn't help it, i blame my sil she gave me her £5 off no.7 pc voucher and felt compelled to use it. I think i got a good deal though especially as the same sa has refused the use of vouchers if you get a gwp or 3 4 2. i got

    No7 dream lash mascara £10.50 on 342
No7 Time Resisting Day cream reduced to £7.88 from £15.75 on 342
No7 Time Resisting Night cream reduced to £8.38 from £16.75 on 342
Olay wipes Reduced to £1.13 from £4.99
Olay cleanser face wash £1.13 from £4.99
    no.7 gwp
    used £5 off no.7
    total £16.14

I tried to use a 250pt voucher from the last gwp to find it had expired. I was a bit mad with this as it must have already expired when i got it and there isn't a acm at this store so no extra points for me.
Also in my rush i picked up a brown mascara when i wanted black do you think they will let me change it as it's a cosmetic i don't think they will.
:)Mummy to 2 wonderful boys :)

Dunno if anyone has said - the voucher will still scan even if out of date.
My DH has just joined the parenting club (not that he knows it) and his voucher for the changing bag didn't even have a date on it.:j So it looks like they've got rid of the expiry dates on them!

I'm saving that for if/when the first bag we got thanks to a lovely MSEer wears out. :)

Oooh, what a fab shop! Would love to get the No7 and Olay skincare reduced items as my sister uses No7 and mum uses Olay - would be fab xmas pressies!

If the mascara has a bit of plastic sealing it I would've thought they'd exchange - can't remember if it does or not.

I seem to have the Bootsing bug back :D

Got 3 of the Umberto Giannini Shine things for 39p each. Bodyform plus tin for 99p, nothing else too exciting...BUT...didn't spend any 'real' money as it was with Pigsback vouchers :D

Anyone have any idea if St Tropez will be on offer instore/online?

Halton lea no.7 liplicious lip glosses £4.25 each would be 3 4 2 I guess. I got two nivea moisturisers one for £3.25 (oxygen one ) and sensitive one for £2.10, there were also lots of Boots sensitive skin products for less a pound. Also some sanctuary stuff including one gift set in an organza bag. Paid with points and almost laughed when the SA asked if i had enough to cover it (I have £84 thanks to all you lot!) Thanks again everyone who posts.

Im stocking up on the fruity custards for taking on holiday (so handy as a snack for DS2) so if anyone has any 3 for £3 coupons they wont use i would gladly swap them for a fragrance voucher.

    Thanks!

there is an acm 100 points voucher wyb any product from the range, so maybe someone reported they got it for £1 theoretically because they got 10 points back.

    hope that make sense
  • Can I mention Lloyds chemist on here? I went in todday and they had lots of perfume reduced. I got Burberry from £28 to £10 Burberry aftershave from £20 to £6 Versace red jeans large from £19 to £9 and small from £9 to £3.99.
So that is a few more christmas presents no points though.
I haven't got a lot of self control. I purposely didn't go into 2 Boots I passed yesterday owing to the large amount of money I spent last week. I only went in LLoyds to collect a prescription.
Perhaps chemists should have a government health warning.lol
