all this talk of confiscated cards - lost points - etc etc got me a bit jittery so I went to Mr B's tonight and blew all my points on some bottles of perfume for me and some for xmas gifts for mum/sister. Now only got 3.40 left:cool: Feels very strange - not had a total as low as that for ages!![/quote

WISH I HAD DONE THAT A WEEK AGO
going to docs tommorow see if they can give me some tablets to help me with my loss

yeah with all this talk, im going to be going down and spending a bit of mine. i got £230 on my card, so just gonna spend bout £50 or so, getting myself some nice things, as bf went out today and never came home, now its saying on his bebo page, he's single, so im taking it that he's went away in one of his moods again, well he had his last chance, he's blowen it!! theres plenty more guys out there, that is willing to accept me and my boots addiction!! lol

Iwanttoliveinboots - it sounds as though you deserve to buy yourself some new things to cheer yourself up - what a horrible thing top happen.
I wondered if amassing a very large total on your ACM card draws you to their attention even if its all gained legit. Im not one for attention so just in case Ive got rid of the points - now can have the challenge of building it up again. Iwas saving them for xmas anyway - just bought the stuff a bit early instead!

I can't bear to part with my points this side of Xmas when I know that the Xmas stuff will be marked down to 75% in the sale after Xmas. Think I'll keep saving my points for then and then I'll have Xmas next year sorted too ;)

I know all of this is terribly upsetting, so maybe you should take a break from thinking of it? Shut off the computer for a day, relax, think of positives in your life? I sometimes let myself get really miserable with worry and stress, too, and taking a step back and re-evaluating things and focusing on the positive helps. Allow yourself a holiday from thinking about it for a little while, and hopefully you'll feel much better soon. :)
  • Been to a big fat branch of Boots today, spent some points on toy helicopters for DS's friends' birthdays and Benefit Benetint.

Spent money on new glasses. Saw sign saying they had free slots for eye tests and have been meaning to get new pair as been wearing these ones for 4 years and frames are half price at moment. Opticians' staff were really lovely. I managed to get the £10 ACM discount just by mentioning it even though I didn't have piece of paper with me and get FREE eye test by telling them I'd got the parenting club and the health club vouchers for them at home but hadn't brought them out with me as it was spur of the moment.

Had photo taken of my retinas for extra £10 - it's really cool picture, looks like a planet!!!! So I guess I got to see my retinas for free!!!

Obviously only 1% points on glasses...

600 points on olay total effects moisturiser

If you want to get the extra discount whereby you'll get the free expert stuff and money off then you'll need the other voucher ending in 93 as well.

You could use just the one voucher and you could get the baby oil for free if you buy 2 and the Expert stuff that costs £1.99 usually would probably go through as 99p for 2 items.

I've only done this using both vouchers and it's worked on as many as 8 items in one transaction. HTH

Think there's a few of us. Is a great glitch though, I use the baby expert stuff on my little ones and I've got a few pregnant friends that I'm planning on doing hampers for :D
