I went to buy essentials yesterday for DS, while there grabbed 2 mags, what a mistake! They didn't have ANY inserts in, not one! Not even the one with no coupons! That will teach me to check in future.

I saw Time Delay moisturiser on reduced items to £2.23, so pIicked it up. Told SA I had a voucher, let me just find it... found it, gave it to her, and she said I don't think this will give you the points for this product because it is reduced and not blue top.

She said we have the blue tops, what I will do, is scan it and if you don't get your points, I will void it for you. Then you can get a blue top.

I thought how lovely she is, but I knew it would scan because it says ANY time delay product.

She was really suprised when the points showed up and was lovely, she said yes your points are on, and here is another voucher for £2 off hair products.

She loves my DS and when I needed to feed him, even offered for me to sit in a corner on a chair in the store to feed him. Now that's CS!

I have already told CS that I thinks she is lovely and very helpful, even my DH says so, and he doesn't like shopping, they told me they would pass on the feedback to her line manager.

Still being really strict with myself and only buying essentials but reading all these posts, I have withdrawl symptoms... want to go bootsing... need to win more vouchers than I can afford to.

I'm pretty sure I've seen a place in the account info where you can cancel being in PC. But I wonder if it would make them look more closely at your account if you did cancel????

Oh this wasnt for me to cancel so I wont be drawing attention to myself.
Will not spend more money:naughty:, but will spend more time looking for that great bargain!

Surely though with the recent news of Jill people do have the need to use this facility. I mean they encourage you to sign up ASAP to benefit form all the offers & things do go wrong in pregnancy. I think altering your status shouldn't matter as people do genuinely need to do this...unfortunately.

Not a dig just an observation so as not to alarm those in limbo: do I cancel do I not?

I am guessing the perfume gift sets were reduced...quite fancied Britneys Midnight one (did it get reduced?) but not shopped in what seems like ages.

I phrased my question poorly; I didn't mean you specifically, but rather was wondering if people started canceling out of PC to avoid problems, would it end up causing problems because it drew attention to their account in some way?

    Morning all

Had quite a nice little shop today in my little Boots!

2 x Pre Med Butters Bogof
1 x Johnsons Holiday skin facial moisturiser reduced to £1.50
1 x TD Microdermabration refill reduced to £2.00
    1 x Virgin top up £5

Used 200 TD PC voucher & 200 TD Mag voucher, Med PC voucher, Double points coupon, so ended up £8.50 with 496 back in points :j :j :j

When I got home & opened the TD Dermabration kit it has a tube of exfoliator plus 2 x AA batteries plus 2 heads for the massager! All for £2..........Well free if you can get the mag points!
If anyone wants the heads for the dermabration machine let me know as I don't need them!

I think this PC is a delicate area for some people,
but there i think anyone with large boots points balance will draw attention if there is a department that keeps a look out for fraudlant use, also for those who use CS regulary as an operater may pass on any suspisions they have, as they will gain entry to all your transactions.

    Just a thought!

    on a lighter note
I'm still on the hunt for the new mag
has any been spotted in Sheffield?
More [STRIKE]knowledge[/STRIKE] stuff then sense

thanks so much for this - my mum wanted one of these sets and there was no way i could afford full price... were they on the normal roc isle?? or in a clearance section - might be worth my while travelling into a bigger town to get her these. she will be so happy and what a great way of thanking her for taking us all on holiday :rotfl:

They were next to The Roc section, on a small display stand which had other reduced skincare and Roc items on. What part of the country do you live in?

Skibster I am sure GG would have meant for a smiley on the end there as I'm sure she would know it was a direct comment IYKWIM.
