Possible loophole: £15 off WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2006 on hmv.co.uk

I visited the PES5 page on hmv.co.uk earlier but missed out on the misprice. While i was on the page i clicked on the 'Try These' tab and noticed they were advertising WWE Smackdown vs Raw for £19.99, but with a picture of the not yet released Smackdown vs Raw 2006 box beside it (which is £34.99 to pre-order). So if i was to order using that link and they sent the old game, would I have an arguable case that I thought I was buying the unreleased newer version? It's very easy to mistake one for the other because they don't mention '2006' in the title beside the box picture....also it's possible to proceed straight to checkout via the 'Buy it' button without seeing a detailed description of the product. Advice please.

Penball i`am also needing the latest 2006 version for xmas if you go for it can you please let me know how you go on and is there any where to get the smackdown gear cheaper? i`m after the title belt to go with the game for a present.(very pricey)Thanks in advance

I'm going ahead with the order, think I have a decent argument on my hands, i'll let you know the outcome. I've already pre-ordered the game from Gameplay (which i'll cancel if this works) at £27.98 delivered, thats as cheap as i've seen it. As for other merchandise and belts, it all seems to be priced high everywhere you go!

to be honest, i dont there is much of a case on this one, it clearly says its the old version with a RRP of 24.99 reduced to 19.99. The image is just a temporay one, not even the true raw 06 image.

But you can try if it fails you can just get your cash back

Sorry, can't see where it says £24.99 marked down to £19.99, and the description is a bit generic and could be applied to any wrestling game. That is all the information I saw on the item before purchasing it. Don't forget that I bought it from the bottom of the Pro Evo page.

When i search for special offers i get this as one of the results. I think this is the one you are referring to. It would be nice if it pays off, but i would guess they will play the release date and price card that it refers to the old one, but worth trying.
