Just to reassure wirm, I have gone though any likely threads in your helpful A-Z of codes but no joy thus far.
Any codes available for a Chest Freezer please? - medium size(NOT frost-free)i.e. 200-300ish litres? Just a basic job required to accommodate Mr T and my first year of garden's crops.
Thankyou in advance.

just remember whatever codes you get - to go through https://www.quidco.com to get the optimum cash back as well
Em likely places I can think of Comet, Currys (5% code floating around and poss some more specific ones), John Lewis (usually something) , Iceland (yes they sell freezers), Boots Appliances (advantage card points I think) Tesco (clubcard but no cashback)
look on https://www.pricedash.com (although their codes have been pretty useless lately)
Currys Save 10% OFF All Fridge Freezers Over £200 - Code: GOOGLEFF (source pricedash)

Thankyou Kazzea-I see we were both burning midnight oil. Have tried all the above sauf Boots and want chest freezer only, for garden shed. Shall look at them and your two helpful cashback sites.Kazzea wrote:just remember whatever codes you get - to go through https://www.quidco.com to get the optimum cash back as well

So far, Tribal UK offer £192.75, inc. Del, for Whirlpool AFG533CH
USEFUL TIP? - came from one Steven at Robert Sayle(John Lewis Cambridge)-
DON't buy a frost-free model if freezer will be sited outside the house proper. Ambient temperature conflicts can cause freezer to stop working. I know this - it happened in France earlier this year.
really appreciate your detailed help - thanks again.CAP[UK]for FREE EXPERT DEBT &BUDGET HELP:

Hello phoebe03cat,
I'm just about to order WhirlpoolAFG533-CH from Tribal UK - £192.87 delivered, with 2.75% cashback via kazzea's helpful suggestion. This may seem small, but it is there to be had and outperforms some higher percentages which apply to higher start prices, thus still remaining higher overall.
Shall post how Tribal UK perform.
Best of luck..CAP[UK]for FREE EXPERT DEBT &BUDGET HELP:

For a basic Mr T job
I'd recommend a visit to curry's 'norfrost chest freezer £139.00 ish' for 6.4 cuft which is a reasonable amount of freebies in Mr T speak
, ideal if you need to get it thorough narrow space, as the depth is quite narrow, only one of its size that I could get through my narrowish hallway, to kitchen area without to much grief, as house built in 1880's pre-refrigeration. Also would go in the back on a reasonable sized estate (probably) so no need to pay the extortionate delivery charges. 0 -
Hi ampersand, All I can say is
Came home after much walking around to find I had decided on the same model as yourself. After using variety of codes etc for Currys got it down to £208.95 plus points/cashback.
Will ring up and cancel in the morning and go to Tribal for the xtra £16. Every little counts as they say. You never know they may price match, but won't hold my breath!0 -
No - surprisingly Currys won't pricematch. So have cancelled and gone to Tribal too. Thanx0
