Anthony buys pad in Redcar despite credit crunch

THE CURRENT credit crunch hasn’t put first time buyer Anthony McIntyre off investing in property.

anthonymcintyre.jpg

The 21-year-old, pictured above, has climbed the first rung of the property ladder, buying a one-bedroom apartment in Redcar.
He has just moved into the flat at G2 Redcar, a development purposely aimed at first-time buyers.

Having previously lived with his parents in nearby Dormanstown, Anthony - who is a scaffolder for Corus - wanted to move out and find a place of his own.
He says: “There’s a lot of talk about a credit crunch, which is worrying people who want to buy a house.
You need to get out there and actually do something.
I’ve lived in my apartment for about a month now and everything is going great.”

He is doing well for himself, not only can he afford a poorly decorated flat he has also invested in silicone bicep implants. Well done that man, he really understands the state of the market.:D

I was thinking more along the lines of what's a bloke doing with a pan in his hand? :D Where is the stack of dirty plates and empty pizza boxes?

I'm also curious how he's heating up whatever's in the pan when all the hob knobs are turned off :rotfl: , not to mention the cooker switch on the wall is also in the off position :rotfl: .

I'm also convinced that that head and the body are actually from two different pictures, ie. some photoshop trickery at play.

And !!!!!! is that "feature" wallpaper all about?

Like I said - so many things wrong with that picture.

Wow. The article's worthy of the Framley Examiner or the Onion. Genius find, OP. :)

So are you saying this is in fact a fake, and an apartment in Redcar hasn't sold after all?

    The market really is screwed.

Time for a ROFL emoticon methinks.

I'm also willing to bet theres nothing whatsoever in that pan he's stirring on the turned off hob he's standing at.

Its a visual metaphor for the housing market!
