Creative Zen V plus 4GB MP3 player

Seeing as I missed out on the last deal for this on here, I went hunting and found this deal with Pixmania

http://www.pixmania.co.uk/uk/uk/342277/art/creative/zen-v-plus-4-gb-mp3-playe.html

£46.38 inc VAT, but delivery is £7.10. Still a lot cheaper than Argos £79.99.

I've already got the 2GB version and love it, so am pleased with this bargain. Haven't shopped with Pixmania before so hopefully, no problems. :T
My mantra is simple: If I don't help myself first, I shouldn't expect it from others. If I don't like something, I will change it. If I can't change it, I will learn to deal with it.

I accept responsibility for my own actions and my own situation. A sense of entitlement is not healthy and will only lead to consistent disappointment.

  • Pixmania have always been good to me, but two things to remember: If you need to return an item, it's going back to France. You need to remove the Zen Engagement in the "your account" area before checking out, as you won't have an option later and it's not always great value.

Can you get the volume to go very loud on this model?

My Sony has broken this week (dropped once too often!), and as much as I loved it, the volume was crap. I need something that blocks out all the nasty little chavs on the tram! x

I've had a couple of Zens and they can go very loud. I know what you mean about sonys, my girlfriends sony MP3 is very quiet.

Yes, it took me a little while to figure out how to get rid of the Engagement. You just click the link asking for more info, scroll to the bottom, and tick to say you don't want it.

When I thought I had a problem with my last Zen that I bought from Amazon, I contacted Creative direct. They just sent me a new one no questions asked! But it was my corrupted files that were the problem. :D

There is a hack to increase the volume on Sony Walkmans, mine was also very quite but this helped a lot.

I had exactly the same issue - but it was bad firmware for me! They were very good at handling it though.
