Someone's Ripping Someone Off

Won a picture CD a couple of weeks back and won another last week. Both are exactly the same!

One person is in Newcastle the other Cheltenham. They may know each other but it could be one ripping the other off.

Either way, I've bought both!

Now, do I tell each seller?

    It's a Britney CD

One said 2100 pics, the other said 1900.

Two seperate auctions, two different descriptions, but exactly the same item/pictures

It's a self made one not an official one, both passing it off as their own work.

    I would. *evil grin*
It's not as though either can do anything about it though, unless they have included some personal pictures that they can claim copyright ownership to.

True, can't do anything about it legally etc, but at least I could tell both. That way it's 'down to them' to have the battle.

Looked at their feedback, but neither have given each other any.

Was only 1.99 and 2.50, but not the point.

they're probably both ripping someone else off, so i wouldnt worry about it.

maybe you could sell off your duplicate as your own to recoup some costs.

True, but then how long would 2100 pictures take to find online, save to disc etc etc.

And sometimes we need to treat ourselves, especially as one does not drink, smoke, drugs or drive.

    I need some enjoyment :j

I've located the original seller as he's left feedback for both. I'll let him know.

I won't sell copies of that CD myself, but could make up my own :)

I can't believe people buy things like that on ebay! (No offence Microslav:p) ...I have seen newspaper cuttings etc for sale on ebay!! - but I suppose if someone else does all the work and presentation then its like buying a home made craft item or something?

    Microslav? lol

To be honest, with all the popups you have to go to, to get some pics, it's easier and less time consuming just to buy.

I buy clippings off eBay.....why? Cos before I was buying magazines for £2 a time just for 1 pic, but I won't be silly with it, won't pay loads.

Also used to buy photos, but now I just save Internet pics or pics off CD upload to snapfish or whoever and pay 10p a print :D And with people on here, save even more with the freebies etc :D

    ANYWAY

Told the original person and I can't reply as to what he is going to do with them on this family site :D
