feeling like a failure

I just need to have a moan really. Over the last month I have done really well with cutting back all my direct debits and spending and I think I will manage to save about £200.00 per month which is about the amount that I overspend by.

I even went as far as to find a part time job (already have a full time job) which would give me an extra £200.00 per month. The trouble is that i went twice and really hated it so i havent gone today. Now I really hate myself because the money would have been useful.

Any suggestions??????

I might get shot down for saying this, but while money's important it's not everything. You've done really well so far, and I'm sure you'll be able to find another job that you like, if it's what you want.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.
  • Thanks, I am going to keep looking but the hours etc were ideal, I just couldnt stick the people or the work.

Dont be so hard on yourself - working is hard enough as it is without hating it and considering we all spend the vast majority of our time at work - we do need to be relatively happy there and at least like most of the people most of the time  - something else will come up you'll see ;)

I agree, I nearly drove myself into the ground by overworking in my late 20s and i'm still recovering now almost 10 years later.

Cutting back £200 is brilliant based on your overspending, now as we are all educating our own spending habits youmay find that reduces even further!

Feel free to have a moan anytime, we all have our down days!!!!
