Pension loan(?) - Midland Bank/HSBC

Don't know if I'm in the right place for this query - but here goes!
Some 10 years ago, I took early retirement/redundancy from my bank employment. I took a lump sum plus a monthly pension. Last year, I reached 60, and the month after my birthday, my pension provider, without any explanation, started deducting around £60 per month, as a "pension repayment". When I worked, I paid a reduced NI stamp, so after some form filling, etc, I eventually was able to claim £130 p.m. until 65 from the state pension scheme(I am assessed on my husband's NI payments, and he is the same age as me). The pensions provider for the bank, after several phone calls and letters, eventually told me I had signed a loan form when I took my redundancy and that once I claimed state pension, I had to repay that loan. This is all news to me, and I am pursuing this further. Has anyone else come across this? The letter I received from the pension provider made little sense anyway and I would like to find out if anyone else has had the same "problem"! Thanks for reading this!!
