Any REAL homeworking jobs?
Options
Is anyone aware of any work from home jobs other than Catalogues,Avon, hampers, virgin make up,Candleparties. We don't have transport so can't transport any goods. Is there a modern equivelent to the stuffing envelopes,or any pc incomes we can do from home? I sell old cd's and books on Amazon, can't get a decent rating on Ebay and have registered with Test and vote, brainjuicer and ciao for surveys. Thanks in advance to any replies.

Yip. :j There are ways.
You could set up your own business as I'm doing. Of course there are other ways: dirty phonecalls  , LOL, but I stick to the higher moral ground :A .
Have you any ideas of what you'd like to do and why must it be from home?0 -
would like to know this too!! Good question! Does the stuffing envelopes thing still happen - I have spare time during the day when i could do with something like that to earn a little extra!

a quick google search:Use your imagination! If technology can automate many tasks, and does them far faster than a person, then the cost for a machine to do the job will be far lower.
Mailing houses usually do not need to advertise. The job is mostly automated. It is mostly office or factory based. After all, that is where the machinery is.
<LI>Most of the envelope stuffing jobs advertised are scams. One version of the envelope scam is:- Advert in a shop window says you get paid for every envelope stuffed, you reply, you pay your registration fee for the magic answer which turns out to be a copy of the same advert which you then pay to advertise in another shop. It is just a con to get your registration fee.

I'd like to know as well.It all seems to be knowing the right person etc. I have M.E. and can't get out to work but i could do a couple of works some kind of light desk work form home, a day. I've been told by the DSS I can do this legally as it is classed as "therapuetic work". But trying to FIND the work is another matter.
As an aside, why can't you get a decent rating on Ebay??0 -

Also Looking For Some Work From Home?0

I work from home part time doing admin/finance/secretarial type work for a small business. It works for me because I need to be at home for family reasons and it also works for my employer because the business doesn't have to pay overheads for me. My employer pays me a set wage for up to 8 hours a week and any work I do beyond that I am paid an hourly rate. I think that I am lucky to have the job and there must be other small company's out there that would benefit from a similar arrangement. It may be worth your while advertising in your local paper. Good luck.0
