I want to do a food hygiene course

Hi,
Some of you might have seen I am interested in possibly selling cakes at car boots/markets etc (probably the former) and it seems beneficial or in some cases compulsory to have a food hygiene/safety certificate. I've had a quick look to see prices and things and they seem to range from a few pounds to a few hundred pounds. It'll only be me which will need training, so a 1 day/online/short course would be beneficial.
Any suggestions? Thanks.

I'm planning on doing an online course in food hygiene myself. My employer runs a course but because of family commitments I cant be gone all day and, coincidentally, its a 10 hour course . Anyway, this is the cheapest respectable provider I could find online.

I have been looking for a course, preferably on-line.....does the £12 plus VAT include the test? it's not clear from the site.
Also, do they just send you a booklet, as P&P is added on.
I have previously googled food hygiene and found sites where the course is done on-line. I will have to have another look.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0
