Help - hair problem advice needed

Hello, had my hair highlighted today and it has turned out much too light, especially around my face.
I know you are all going to say go back to the hairdresser, which I probably will do, but what will she be able to do?
Would it be a case of having another lot of highlights but the dye being darker? If so I guess I couldn't have this done just yet as my hair has only just been bleached. Are there any other options?
Thanks in advance

Hi Car
Your best bet is definitely the hairdresser. She will be able to darken the bits that are too light with blonde lowlights, and maybe mix in some other shades of blonde to get it just right. Its best to go back to the actual stylist that did it as she will know what she did and where she went wrong. As it is being dyed darker, they will be able to do it right away. Plus they will put conditioners in the colour to protect your hair.
Colour correction is definitely not something to attempt at home as it is too complex, and best done only by a professional.
Hope that helps xx:heart2: Stuff & Thangs :heart2:0 -
Thanks for your advice.
I was tempted in my panic to go and buy a do it yourself all over cover near my natural dark brown shade from the chemist, but did a bit more searching on the internet and found out that if you don't add the red first you go green?!
Anyway, couldn't face calling the original hairdresser that did it (she's a mobile one), and went into town yesterday and I'm booked in for "colour correction" on Tuesday!0
