    tried with Firefox:

We weren't able to process the code you entered. Please enter it again or try a different code. (same with Chrome)
  • I'm on a mac and it didn't work with Safari, but it's just gone through fine using Chrome! woo hoo!
  • The code RLFF14 worked for me, on the email it said LFF14 I think?
  • Hi all

I've had a gift voucher for Christmas for my favourite local cafe for £20 - more than I spend in one visit!

I was wondering where the law stood on the matter of change - does it have to be provided and the business decide whether its actual cash or in the form of vouchers? Or do they not have to give change at all?

Thanks for any help, and sorry if I'm repeating myself xx
  • It varies on the business. Most say anything greater than £1 has to be paid back in vouchers. On most gift cards now the change remains on the card. If its paper voucher I would say a £1, if its a card then they leave the balance on. Pop in and speak to them before you use it.
  • Thanks for the quick reply.

It's a paper voucher, do they *have* to give change in some format though? I did ask them and they said they don't give change at all :(

Can my boots money off and additional extra bonus points physical voucher (sent by boots to me) be used by my friends ?

My friend is interested in using my voucher along with his advantage card swiped at the terminal - is this acceptable ?

I also do have unused tesco money off vouchers - thought of giving it to him as he is a regular big spender in retail shops. Will tesco allow that ?

    Please share in your thoughts.
  • Took the free trial and also paid for a month over Xmas hols to keep kids entertained. Decided not watching as much now so cancelled online - after cancelling and before confirming it a screen came up offering £6.99 for 4 months - saving £2.

Ok, a small discount but £2 is better off in your pocket :D
  • There is a discount voucher that is working with the current 25% offer they are running until midnight - don't add on until you are at the final check out page then use EVNOW25 for a further 25% off - don't forget FREE50 for free delivery if your order is over £50 too:j
