I Know I've thanked all your posts but just wanted to say THANK YOU!! to all mse'ers on this board.
My df life is continuing, shakingly but steady so far. We have been overspending a bit and now the summer holidays have started I can see the £££'s going on childcare, holiday, birthdays (2 including DS 18th b'day). However we are keeping to our plan so far and cutting down where we can. Our food bill is unchanged miraculously but our fuel costs are rising, fortunately OH gets about £130 per month from his employer towards fuel costs so that helps a bit.
I have an interview for a new job at work and if I get it, it will mean a substantial pay increase. However a big downside will mean working full time and I'm not sure if I want to do that. Other than that our savings are now almost depleated having paid for all the work on the the new house, we have also decided to put DS2 into private school so any extra funds we were going to use for savings will be going to pay for that for the time being.
So.....I'm still using the whiteboard, still budgeting and giving OH pocket money when he's good :rotfl: and the kids, especially DS1 are getting really cautious with their money. DS1 has decided he will NOT be getting a credit card when he goes to uni, I sure hope he sticks to that decision!Debtfree JUNE 2008 - Thank you MSE:T0
