Cheapest Batteries

Where are the cheapest batteries.

I am after buying Triple A (AAA) and Size D.

Maplins have an offer at the moment 8 pack of AAA for £2.99 and 4 pack of size D also £2.99.

Anyone aware of any cheaper ones.

I bought 16 duracell AA batteries in Asda today for £4.99. Don't know if they have an offer on the sizes you're looking for but might be worth a look.

Unbranded batteries don't always last! Look out for bogoff offers on branded ones, and Tesco own brand were pretty good last time I saw a 'Which' type test.

It's always worth checking your local Everythings a Pound/Christies 99p Store/Poundland type shops as they often carry multi-packs of branded batteries for 99p/£1. I got some 10-packs of Samsung AA's for a pound recently.
