I don't think I've still got all the statements, and I've no idea how much the charges are. I know they're a lot, because when I made an agreement with Mercers to pay £12 a month they were adding nearly £40 on in interest and charges. I could probably dig out up to date balances in the next few days.

Ok hun, if you can do that for both cards that would be fantastic. Then get a highlighter pen and mark all over limit and late payment charges. Once that is done we can put them into the calculater from the bank reclaim forum and send the template letter off to both cards asking for charges back. We can still claim from credit card. Its only the bank charges that are on hold. Its not the balances you need hun. Its the individual chatrges for each month you have had the card for we need x x x x

So do I need to contact the cc companies to get all my old statements? What about egg that was all done online and that's now with a DCA?

If you go to the reclaim bank charges board on here all the letters you need are on there. Follow the instructions on there. It is so easy, i did it and got ALL my charges back from the credit card company. Send the DCAs the CCA letter. And send the credit card companies the subject access request letter. This is asking for a list of all the charges etc. They will send you copies of all your statements and that goes for the online credit card as well. You need to send a postal order off for 10.00 for each card. Everyone has to do this. When you get your statements then you can go through them and work out your charges then its ready for the second letter to them asking for them back. They will say no blah blah blah blah blah. If they do then come back and we will help you throuhg the next stage. Can you pull up all previous statements for online credit card from your comp.

I didn't save the online statements, just looked at them when I could face it. Obviously now that's gone as they've stopped the account and sent it to a DCA. I've got no money at all for a couple of weeks so I'll get the ball rolling then.

I've already CCA'd the DCA dealing with egg, they sent one back. Is there any point CCAing Barclaycard as it's still with the OC and presumably they'll have the paperwork?

    Thanks for the advice!

No just send off the letter to get your statements hun. Are you sure the DCA sent an actual CCA to you not a copy of your application. They do tend to do that.

    No it was a CCA.

I'm gonna put it in my diary to do it next time I have the £10. Thanks for all the advice.
