We've got some of this leftover from the weekend but i wondered if there was anything i could cook with it? The only thing i've come up with is putting in mashed potato??

    Hi Hypno

I'd mix it with milk and use as a cheesy sauce, or pop on top of salmon steaks and cook in the oven... delicious added to mash though! x

Lovely stirred into hot pasta - add a beaten egg if it needs stretching, the egg will cook in the heat of the pasta (just keep stirring off the heat to avoid scrambling).

Also, mixed into the mashed flesh of a ripe avacado makes a baked potato topping fit for a dinner party (we had this for our first vegetarian Christmas many moons ago when an avacado was a really exotic thing).

Melt it on top of some pork - yummy!!!

Or - scoop out the middle of a cooked jacket potato, mix with the pepper cheese and then put back in the oven to heat up. Makes a slight variation to mash!

Oh - i forgot - I also stuff chicken breasts with boursin and wrap in bacon - cook in the oven for half an hour or so, until the chicken is cooked through. YUMMY!

  • I would just eat it on oatcakes, crackers or a bit of celery. I love boursin mmmmmmm

if you have some big flat mushrooms, bung it on top, bread crumbs on top of that, 20 mins in the oven, yum.
