I recently had work done on my PC and whe I got it back the @ button does not work.
When I press it I get a different character and I have to press shift and 2 to get the @ character.
What is going on here and can anyone tell me how to fix it please.

Sounds like it might have been Americanised, if there is such a word which means you have to go and change it back to UK but I'll leave someone else to explain that as I can't remember how you do it.
