    It even looks anonymous, functional and brick-like, rather than some of the 'fashion statement' external drives that are about.

    That's a good price! I was looking at getting one of them but it was £70 from Aria where I often get my PC bits and bobs as it's usually cheap - so £40 looks a bargain!

    You still have postage to pay on top of that - looking at the eBuyer site it's £4.79, which isn't actually that bad.

    BUT - if the order comes to £50 or more then postage is free, so if you can think of something else you'd like for £10 then you save the delivery fee.

    Probably better off buying a 500gb one 54.99, free delivery already and about 16% cheaper per gb

    Good idea - amazing how cheap these things are nowadays!

    The only thing I'd say is think how much space you'd need - no point getting one that's cheaper per GB if you'd not actually end up using half of it anyway!
